electronic device to find good fish for ice fishing?
What do you recommend for a good fish to find the electronic device for fishermen on the ice? What features do you like?
Curtis is correct. The electronic reasonable price for ice fishing, (which actually work) are Vexilars. The FL-18 (http://www.cabelas.com/p-0073825020822a.shtml) is very nice, but much more expensive than FL-8 (http://www.fishusa.com/Vexilar-FL8-SE -Genz-Pack_p.html). I have the FL-8 pac Genz and works very well. When I moved to MN I fell in love with ice fishing and want all the right equipment. He quickly found that the only Vexilars way to go. Why? I bought a laptop LCD and tried to use it. I learned that common LCD fish finders not to "upgrade" sufficiently fast to be useful as a tool for ice fishing. A big mistake! The most important feature of an electronic flasher rate is the fact that it can shoot through the ice before the drill hole. This is an important feature to have! The only other electronic device that works well for Ice fishing is an underwater camera. Aqua View a decent ago. I hope this information helps ya?
