Where I can find the fuse on my boat?
I have a 92 Chris Craft 187 with an OMC Cobra outdrive and a 5.0 Ford V8 liters. This morning I charged my battery and when I got back into the terminal I put in the wrong side (causing a spark) My mechanic believed to have blown a fuse of 50 amps (or one of the other two fuses) and tried to describe to me where the fuses are located near the entrance of air. But when I went looking for could not find the rubber boots online that he had described to me. Does anyone know where I can find a diagram of this engine with a breakdown of where I can find these fuses that my mechanic is talking about? At this point, my indicators work, my fan and bilge pump works, but I get nothing when I try to start the engine (Not even a click)
There is a main fuse or the sleep button on the motor … when you pop the lid open towards the rear – its in a higher bracket of the time .. RED rest with a button … If you find it and do not pop .. Search for the starter .. for in-line fuse holder is the size of a FAT MARKER BLACK … but most of the time put the fuse box under the dash and down were the feet touch the dash (behind a panel )…. but the fuse motor are not there …. this only to your other stuff .. as pumps, fans, lights, etc … and good luck
