boat bilge pumps
How much water is "OK" to enter the boat, while in the water?

It is a fiberglass boat 1985 with a runabout / i motor or MAC. The water comes through the seats of the hold, because there is nothing that separates them. I understand that you are either a little water into the ship, while its in the water, but How much is too much? We started and stopped a few times and got about an inch of water. Also, how do I know if I have an automatic bilge pump which lights up when the water reaches a certain level? Is there a way to test when we go? Thanks for your help.

Where is the water entering the boat as the water should not enter unless dew or rain> The bilge is the lowest part of the time lower bilge aft engine> Auto == is located at or near the bomb> might want to get some 1 to help with the functions of the boat before you can not solve problens and water>
