
Preparing your boat for summer
The best thing you can do to make sure your boat is ready the summer, is proof of that before you plan use. You're so excited to go out on the water for the first day of the sailing season, that figure, "Hey, it runs fine at the end of last year. It should be fine now. "
Do not wait for that first beautiful day of summer when everyone is waiting to go on the boat and the engine will not start. In reviewing all the necessary things before putting your boat in the water will remove any problems and possibly getting stranded on the water.
Safety Equipment:
Make sure your safety equipment is in good condition.
Life jackets are an essential part of navigation, and there should be no tears. Also make sure there is enough for all aboard, and that children fit properly.
Fire extinguishers are required for easy access. Make sure they are in good condition and loaded, because the discharge usually occurs in the months of storage. Check the expiration date.
One thing that can be overlooked when getting your boat ready for summer registration. Make sure you are up to date, and is labeled on his boat.
Hull, deck and cover:
Give your boat a good spring cleaning.

Check coolant and transmission fluid and change if necessary
Check belt tension and adjust if necessary to prevent wear and slippage.
What is a good idea to start your engine out of the water ahead of time to make sure it is good condition.
Passing this list, you can avoid many problems in the water. If you encounter a problem, it is much easier to fix before it is too late and more damage. Its boat is ready to hit the water, go ahead and enjoy the summer!
