new license boats in salt water?
I'm thinking of getting a boat for fishing line the bottom of the river Clyde. (Glasgow-Alisa Craig) I said they may need a license.so my question is …. I need a license for the certificate atoll.or sailboat?. . . . Earlier I had a rowboat did not need one because they did not dare take anything away from an outbreak shore.i, lights and all other safety items required.and know the river and its substantial current well. I would appreciate any information, thanks.
You do not need a license but would be subject to instructions from the Clyde Port Authority the Harbor Master and the Queens Harboumaster directions as the area is a busy shipping area with both commercial and naval vessels in motion. Depending your boat you may have a marine radio to allow contact with them and also to the Coast Guard.
