Should you go to dance classes popular?
There are so many dance classes to choose from, how do you decide what kind of dance is for you? If you go to dance classes popular with a lot of people?
It can be tempting to choose the popular dance classes. After all, if many people will they must be good right? Well usually are.
However, it must determine what kind of dance is the best to rely solely on the numbers class. Can be any number of reasons why a dance class can be popular. It may be because the dance teacher is well known and has many contacts in the dance industry, maybe there's a good vibe, perhaps because the kind of dance is easy and people can do it, maybe just because the choreography is amazing!
If a dance class is popular with professional dancers is probably because he wants to impress the choreographer who can have a high profile in the industry or because it is a style dance that is popular in the dance industry at that time. Every dance teacher and choreographer has their own style of dance.
There are many kinds of dances good smaller quantities but with some very good dance teachers. The good thing about these dance classes is that they have to fight for space and probably have a good view of the dance teacher and individual can make corrections (if they do).
At the end of the day has got to choose dance classes that are best for you and what you are aiming to achieve. If you want to call the attention of the choreographer, then by all means go to dance class.
The advantage of going to school popular dance is that it is probably not be far behind what is happening in the industry. But you can build the skills that the other dancers on the popular dance class is not going to other dance classes too. The disadvantage is that it can be difficult to actually see the teacher when there are so many bodies in one room!
You can also get you a good idea of current standard and what is your position all the dancers out there. The rule will probably be high, so you have to be a better dancer – which of course is a good thing.
Also, do not fall into the trap of avoiding a dance class because it is popular. If it is popular probably a reason why and if it is a dance style that is common in the industry of dance that you want to learn or you fall behind.
Make your decisions based on where it goes. You can never do any harm to a popular dance class, but I think that should only go to dance classes because they are very popular.
