Why crab trap buoys have the letters HO them?
I've noticed from coast to coast, large or small, commercial or private, HO letters are printed on the buoys, crab trap fishermen. Why?
This is an identifying mark of an "obstruction harzardous "to other ships can make free passage. This warning is to keep things (lines submerged) Free wheel Boat (propellers).
