Laugh and the world laughs with you work
Many of today's work environments are rife with moody bosses and co-workers, repetitive tasks and unpredictable market pressures. Stress abounds. Managers often tell me they can not afford the time or the cost of my workshops, humor, how can not be afford to treat stress at work.
We know clinically that laughter and play have medicinal properties, which provides physical benefits, psychological and physiology. In the workplace, humor and fun can increase productivity, encourage creativity, improve teamwork, and improve the spirit body.
While there may be able to control everything that happens to us in our jobs and working environments, we have control over how we choose to react. I train others how to create a safe and pleasant environment, and use humor to help maintain a healthy balance between pressure and depth that comes from playing high post work and a competitive market. Remember that humor starts from within. Being able to laugh at his own foibles goes a long way toward creating a healthy working environment in which to flourish.
The following are activities and strategies for you as individuals, work groups and managers. Be creative and use these ideas to stimulate their own remedies to workplace stress.
– Decorate your work area with cartoons, news or funny pictures that bring a smile to your face and visiting fellow of work.
