Auto Emergency Kits
Auto emergency kits are an essential tool for any vehicle. Emergencies happen when you least expect them – and the best way to avoid being trapped for long periods of time on a deserted road is to be equipped with an emergency car kit. The team should include tools repair of vehicles as well as essentials, such as a first aid kit, a blanket or emergency solar blanket, food and water. Granola bars or energy are the perfect food for emergency road situations. The first aid kit should contain basic items such as gauze, bandages, tape, antibiotic ointment, scissors, instant ice pack, instant heat pad, and aspirin or other pain reliever.
The road car kit also should include a flashlight with extra batteries, emergency flares, pen and paper, and a signal for help to put in the window to see passing vehicles if are trapped inside the vehicle. Punctures are a major cause of road emergencies. All vehicles must be equipped with the necessary tools changing a wheel – and every driver must learn to change the tire before driving. Make sure you have a spare tire, vehicle jack, pressure gauge tires, and a spanner. Another element useful to have a tire inflator is bottled. If the tire is not completely flat, you may be able to inflate the tire enough to reach a service station.
Because all roadside emergencies are caused by tires, emergency kits should contain automatic tools to do basic repairs on the vehicle. These should include Phillips and flat head screwdrivers, vise grips, an adjustable wrench, pliers, pocket knife, or a multi-tool that contains many tools in one. Other elements that can be very useful during an emergency road include oil, antifreeze, windshield washer fluid, rags or paper towels, tape, and an ice scraper.
Living in a fast-paced world often requires lots of travel. If you have a long commute or long trips as it is always best to be prepared ahead of time.
