Anybody know of a handheld GPS at sea?
I want a handheld GPS, but I will also be able to climb the charts. I do not need or want a characteristic fish finder that is fairly common when you look Martime GPS units. In addition, maritime GPS tend to be of the type mountable, I want one handheld similar to what you would increase. Thus, the handheld is capable of nautical charts.
We have a Garmin 76CS (color display) hand-held GPS that works very well. can climb the charts, has information on tide, which comes loaded with the basic land and water graphics. also automoble, sailing and boat modes can be selected. 76CSx the (new version) is available at major marine stores like West Marine and Jamestown Distributors.
