If I buy a new fish finder, "I can still use my old transducer?
I have an old (late 80s and early 90) Humminbird search and was looking for the update. If I get a new Humminbird (looking at a 525 or Piranha), "I can still use the same transducer, or do I need to us that comes with the form again? Can I use the same installation / support that is already in my boat (at the bottom of the transom)? In addition, if you decide to go with a brand, Humminbird well, I'll have to reassemble a new medium, all media or are very similar? I'm trying to save time, money, and the holes in my boat. New fish finders as the Hummingbird Piranha 525 or come with the base and the entire transducer. However, they do not support the old transducer. and why the system up to grade fish finder new connecting the device used, if you're looking to up grade your team?
