How well do fish finders work? Like the hummingbird brand?
Thinking of buying one for use with my 2 man bass boat buster.
Three most important features of a pager: resolution, the resolution, the resolution! Get the vertical pixels per inch you can afford. Stay out of entry level "pagers – the models of the economy at $ 100 or less are more like toys for children the actual tools. In my opinion, the best value for the $ $ $ is the eagle fishmark 320 to 150 dollars. It has some nice features like auto-scaling, zoom in / out. Select control manual / automatic sensitivity, making it truly usable. Water temperature is a standard feature. If there is a Cheap Humminbird once – they do not show the depth of the goals unless you had put in fish "ID" mode. Very irritating. I recommend you find one that has a depth scale on the screen.
