My Hummingbird 535 fish finder is malfunctioning, please help me?
Ie the depth is about 800 feet, even when the water is like 3 feet deep. The transducer is pointing in the right direction, so it's not a matter of adjusting it. I think the problem might be that the transducer is not getting power so that the bottom is showing the maximum (which is around 800) help?
You may need a transducer again. I had a similar problem with my unit earlier this year (read only 2.1 to 2.2 '). After sending the company for repair, determined that the transducer was bad. And after the installation of a new transducer, works well.
