Conflicting Frequency Sonar (depth finders)?
Hello, We had a Lowrance X51 depth finder and an old eagle 7200. Recently, we have replaced the eagle with a new Lowrance color depth X510c find what we have one at each end of the boat. The new color appears selected X510c in the same frequency as the frequency of X51 and can not be changed. We have tried to install X51 on the transducer to the front of the boat, about 10 feet from each other. However spoils the X510c screen. Any hints of what we can do besides getting rid of the X51? This writer / fisherman want your depth finder. Thanks

One way to get around it is to use a dual frequency fishfinder, and keep one set at a different frequency from the other. Sounds like you're at the point where both are fixed frequencies equally not be changed. The only way around it is to find a transducer that transmits on a different frequency, but work with one of the locators you have now. I do not know if that is possible or if it is, if a new transducer would cost more than a new pager. It is possible that wish to contact Tiger GPS and see if they can help.
