Part P and power shower pump loaction?
Hi I am fully competent in DIY home electrical wiring, but not part P registered (yawn!) I am building a new en-suite in a dorm and want a power shower. If I can locate the pump outside the bathroom, ie the attic or space under the floor of the room, get round part P? I also want to adjust to a court system again, because this room is a room, there is an existing 3-pin as will become private, if I switch to a stimulus merged round is part of P?
Simply NO. The spur stationary power should be protected by a CCD device as it is in a notification area is under the "P". Get someone to do the job and testing or have to pay for someone to test and certify most to you. Sorry for the bad news, but is designed to protect you and others.
