I want an agreement, a CB transceiver handheld, and marine vhf radios, but HF SSB.?
The current products of Cobra and Uniden, etc. are too big to fail in the pocket well. I see lots of UK radios handheld CB look good, but I have no idea while working here in the U.S. frequencies. I do not want to wait for shipping abroad or to cope with weak exchange rates in U.S. dollars. Ideally have a marine VHF radio set, but is this possible? VHF 30MHz technically falls to believe is not far from our 25-29mhz range, but these signals to be transmitted SSB or AM? Maybe I just need a ham radio handheld, but it would be out of my price range? ($ 200)
There is a CB AM / FM / SSB Handheld who goes by several names: roadpro Titan 454, Spitfire eagle, dragon SS-201 SS-201 Dragon INTEK AH-100, Albrecht AE201. Tweaking a marine radio is not a practical possibility.
