Is there / What is the difference in the construction of the AM antenna (TX / RX) and FM antenna (TX / RX)? assuming the same band?
Suppose I am transmitting signals in, for example: 156.800 MHz (VHF marine emergency channel 16). Built an antenna for FM broadcasts be suitable for the AM signal transmission. And assuming an AM antenna is optimized of 156,800 would be suitable for FM broadcasting. Antennas are basically the same or not and if not that is my suspicion, what is the difference?, how the different elements so I know that FM antennas are capable of detecting AM signals. antenna design only needs the frequencies to be transmitted or received. The modulation type does not matter. .
