why marine aquarium filter got loud?
Ive got a 30ish gallon eclipse aquarium filled with salt water. Im still cycling. A few days ago the filter got really loud and rattly. Its pumping water just fine, but its annoyingly loud. Like a grinding noise. It wasnt like this for the first week or so. Is this a common problem? What can i do to fix this? its in my bedroom so its pretty annoying.
Yeah that can get annoying, i have 2 tanks in my room. If you put sand in the tank and ran the filter at the same time you could have sand in there, if you did stop it right away. you can cause permanent damage to your filtration system. if not post additional info. thanks
