What is that beeping sound when boat is running?
I just bought a 1996 18ft. Sun Tracker pontoon boat with a 60hp motor. While the boat is running there is a loud beeping that will not shut off. The oil level is full and the water pump is working. What can be causing this? Where can I find a on-line owner manual for this boat?
A constant beep would be overheating, an intermittent beeping would indicate an oil flow problem with the oil injection pump. Just because its full doesn’t mean its getting oil. Check it out before its damaged. Suggest you contact the manufacturer for the owners manual. Maybe the local library would have something.
