rule 1100 bilge pump

bilge pump in reverse?

I have a daysailer 3. is full of water. the problem is the access hole is small. I bought a standard 1100. can be in reverse so you can put the hose into the access port and "suck" water out?

No, the pump is designed to run in one direction, since it is a type of centrifuge. You are better manual mounting a whale jet type diaphragm pump, electric pumps to look to the elevator ShureFlo and pressure pumps – do not move large volumes unless you buy a large one, but always seem to run and operate and a suction lift pump. I'm assuming the water is in the bilge? His description suggests this. You could fit a jet pump easier and requires no power supply than an arm – is often mandated safety equipment. Perhaps you can find an access panel, or make one to fit your pump Rule, which should be mounted the lowest point in the bilge, hull while the output can be almost anywhere that is not below the waterline, near the rail is the best – never let the hose hang out on the side unless you want to divert the ship filled with water ….. My question is why the ship is full of water in the difficult get at, not like the idea of fresh water in a boat, so I would worry me more than the immediate practical side out. The following work is to stop more back there. Good luck.
