Before the Navy medically discharged from the spinal cord stimulator implant wants to join has got AF w / seiziures?
My husband (former Navy) medical discharge in autumn 2006 (after 12 years) after having a spinal cord stimulator implant as it could be radio waves nearby. The civil hospital fried stimulator two years ago when they tried to give me an MRI and removed. Since last year, started having seizures, but now under control with medication. Can you join the Air Force? He is 38 years under the rules, was a sailor of the year for Atlantic. I think it ranked second in Navy sailor of the year. It was a morning and would like to continue the race. I would appreciate it if recruiters only and 100% sure answer. He took the lump sum disability when he left and seziures are not military. We try to disability when it first started but was denied.
Unless He is in an area that needs the AF and evil, will not accept the notice. He would lose his disability if he rejoins. He also can not be in the Army and on medication for seizures at all. Talk to other VA representative to find out if your disability can be raised up as a percentage if we consider for the service.
