How do I contact the marina marine VHF radio?
Just bought a radio and my horizon rule says Marine VHF radio contact on 37M M1 and M2 is built in the marinas, which I use, the VHF course in the pipeline, but now I want to go by boat any help is appreciated Thanks Julies husband ask for directions!
First, the type saying that there 37 is completely wrong. 37 is divided into 2 separate chanells 37A and 37B, also called M1 and M2. im Guesing your browser is in M1, but with them by phone to find out. to contact them the procedure for calling any station is saying his name 3 times then "this is" a name of their ships than 3 times. for example, "Mayflower Marina, Mayflower Marina Mayflower Marina, this is Alice, Alice, Alice, on "go to the back of your call with somthing along the lines of:" Alice, Alice, Alice, that is, the Mayflower Marina, Marina Mayflower, Mayflower Marina, on "Then you can say what ever you tell them at the end of each transmission over transmisssion and gone with out. Never say Over and out. should really have a radio license are allowed to wear Chanel 37 witout one, but unless its a Emergancy. I hope this help.
