I find Touble amplitude, period and frequency of this problem. Help please?
So there's this buoy up and down in the waves. The height of the top of the transmitter at any time, h, is given by the equation: h = a sin bt + 5. The wave passes over the buoy every 3.5 seconds, causing the float to go from 1 foot to 9 feet. What is the amplitude, period and frequency? It is: A = 4 B = 3.5 frequency = 2 / 7? Please help!
a = 4 is fine, b = 2 pi / [7 / 2] = 4 pi / 7, period if 7 / 2 and the frequency is 2 / 7
